Tutor / Mentor Activists

Educational Justice Activist Tutors are community service-minded high school students committed to eliminating educational inequality in their community. Applicants who excel in the classroom, in the community, and have a mission to help a fellow student achieve success will build leadership skills as they make a significant impact in the life of a middle school student who needs a mentor. Activist Tutors have opportunities to take leadership roles in EJ, build skills and attain certifications, complete quality community service hours, and add to their college application resume. Most importantly, they get an opportunity to guide a younger peer to success in school work and prepare them for high school. Every member accepted into the program will receive instructions to log in to the REMIND app, which will be used as our messaging system.
